Upon arrival in Landmannalaugar, camp setup takes place before a three-hour warm-up hike through this geothermal paradise of colorful rhyolite mountains and rugged lava fields. After a day of exploration, the group camps overnight in Landmannalaugar, gathering for an evening meal in the communal canteen tent.
