Florence Walking Tour

Upon meeting your tour group, take in the multi-colored stalls and workshops characteristic of the Central market zone. Keep an eye out for the Medicean Chapels and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, church of the once influential Medici Family. (External viewings only)

Stroll through Piazza del Duomo and marvel at the vast Cathedral before stepping inside to admire the interior's intricate Gothic detailing. There's also time to view the dome, the bell tower and St John's Baptistery.

Continue through the medieval quarter to Palazzo del Bargello (external visit only) and Piazza della Signoria where sculptures beckon. Glimpse Palazzo Vecchio and the world renown Uffizi Gallery as you roam the open-air like museum.Visit the picturesque Mercato della Paglia (Straw market), home to the famous Piggy Fountain.

Your walking tour concludes after crossing Florence's signature bridge, the Ponte Vecchio, at Pitti Palace.
